To the credit of the PGA, the Senior PGA Tournament at Harbor Shores was well organized. Following several communications between NPC and PGA officials, the PGA provided roping for New Products property and placards for NPC employees to enter and leave as needed. It was an excellent opportunity for New Products to display signage about the company’s 90th anniversary and WhatIsTheBigSqueeze.com. NPC employees and additional volunteers passed out free water bottles and flyers about the company’s property that was taken by Harbor Shores for part of the 18th fairway.
The majority of people who took the time to listen and read the flyer were in disbelief that someone’s property could be taken in this manner. There was also a misperception that the property was taken under eminent domain which is defined as “The right of a government or its agent to expropriate private property for public use, with payment of compensation.” However, in the case of NPC’s property, it was not a government entity that took the company’s property. It was Harbor Shores developers that took the property without offering compensation
and without responding to any of the company’s communications and proof that the NPC owned the property.

Too bad you weren’t there to help the People Of Benton Harbor who had Prior Law Suits.
There is still a pending Law suit Per: Protectjkp.org &

For more information on what’s been happening on this very subject for the last 20 years plus.
This just goes to show how, you don’t think it’s important to get involved until it hits you personally. I’m in support of you NPC (Miss Miller), just not sure you really know what’s going on. I hope you will now begin to REALLY open your eyes and ears and let the people who have been dealing with this on a day to day year to year basis, help you.
WE MUST PUT ALL OUR HEADS TOGETHER.
Just because we don’t have lots of money, doesn’t mean we don’t know anything.
Even though we didn’t have much, we’ve given it all. When are we going to come together so we can ALL get back what is ours? Not just so we can help you get yours, then you walk away from us. That’s the BIG problem. We’re not asking for much, never have. It’s hard to trust another Corporation after all we’ve been through and have yet to come. Just remember Miss Miller, we have been at this for awhile. WE know what’s going on.. How long did it take you to get here? All I have to say is; NOW THAT YOUR HERE, DON’T EXCLUDE US!!
The people of Benton Harbor are really good at teamwork….As long as we know we are on the right team.
The thing that bothers me most is that you never got involved until you saw it actually, in your face threaten your livelyhood. And then still took some time.
HELP US GET OUR PARK BACK AND THEN YOU WILL HAVE YOUR LAND BACK!
HELP US GET OUR CITY BACK AND YOU CAN GET YOUR LAND BACK.
The picture is a lot bigger than your front yard.
We’re all dying here…..Your just starting to feel it.
Don’t argue with me…If you had felt it sooner like I did…YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN HERE! Now get on the stick!
